Xander is an NSERC, Killam, and Canadian Space Agency postdoctoral research fellow in the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability at the university of british columbia.
He is also a postdoctoral research associate in the High Meadows Environmental Institute at princeton university, and an associate with the stockholm resilience centre.
